Aranyo Bitan

ছোট্ট পাহাড় বঙ্গাডুংরি বা বঙ্গাডুবি। সেই পাহাড়ের একপাশে ওদের ঠাকুর আছেন। পাহাড়ের পাশে শাল মহুয়ার জঙ্গল। জঙ্গলের গা ঘেঁষে সবুজ গাছগাছালি ভরা ওদের রঙীন গাঁ, বৈষ্ণবপুর। প্রায় সত্তরঘর মানুষের বাস এই গ্রামে। ওনারা এই অঞ্চলের আদিবাসী, সাঁওতাল সম্প্রদায়ভুক্ত। ওনারা খুবই সহজ, সরল, সাদাসিধে ও আন্তরিক। আমরা কয়েকজন, যারা এই সরল অনাড়ম্বর পল্লীজীবন আর ঐ অরণ্যের হাতছানির অমোঘ আকর্ষণ কিছুতেই উপেক্ষা করতে পারলাম না, স্বপ্নের আবেগে ভেসে স্বপ্নের 'অরণ্য বিতান' বাস্তবায়িত করার কাজে ব্রতী হলাম আজ থেকে প্রায় বছর দুই আগে গ্রাম সংলগ্ন জঙ্গলের পাশের জমিতে। সাধ আর সাধ্যের মেলবন্ধন ঘটাতে শুরু হলো এক প্রাণান্তকর প্রয়াস। অপটু কিন্তু উৎসাহী কয়েকজন শহুরে ও স্থানীয় গ্রামীণ মানুষদের সমবেত, আন্তরিক ও ঐকান্তিক প্রচেষ্টার ফলেই গড়ে উঠলো আমাদের সাধের, আমাদের স্বপ্নের 'অরণ্য বিতান'। শহুরে যান্ত্রিকতায় অভ্যস্ত ও নাস্তানাবুদ মানুষের এক-দুদিনের অনাবিল শান্তির অবকাশ যাপনের ঠিকানা 'অরণ্য বিতান'। মাটির আঘ্রাণে স্বপ্নের দিন কাটানোর জন্য আছে মাটির ঘর বা মাড হাউস - 'মহুয়া', 'সোনাঝুরি' ও 'কুসুম'। জঙ্গলের অনাস্বাদিতপূর্ব রোমাঞ্চ অনুভব করতে আছে বড়ো জঙ্গল তাঁবু বা টেন্ট 'শিমুল' আর 'তমাল' এবং ছোটো জঙ্গল তাঁবু বা টেন্ট 'গুলঞ্চ' ও 'কুর্চি' । আছে ছয়শয্যাবিশিষ্ট দুটি বিগ কটেজ - 'শাল' ও 'পলাশ'। অদূর ভবিষ্যতের পরিকল্পনাতে আছে আরো কয়েকটি কটেজ। এক-দুদিনের সংক্ষিপ্ত বেড়ানোর আনন্দ অবশ্যম্ভাবী ভাবে ইতিবাচক অনুঘটকের কাজ করে প্রাত্যহিক জীবনের ক্লান্তি, অবসাদ আর একঘেয়েমি দূর করে নতুন উদ্যমে জীবনে এগিয়ে যাওয়ার পথে। তাই, আর দেরি না করে আসুন, আমাদের রোমাঞ্চকর অনুভূতির শরিক হোন, আপনারাও। ব্যস্ত কর্মজীবন থেকে দুদিনের বিরতি নিয়ে ছোট্ট অবসর যাপন করে যান ছায়া সুনিবিড় এই শান্তির নীড়ে।

Small hill Bangadungri or Bangadubi. Their God resides on one side of that hill. Shal Mahua forest is there on the side of the hill. Their colorful village, Vaishnabpur, is surrounded by green trees. About seventy families live in this village. They are indigenous to this region, belonging to the Santal community. They are very easy, simple, naive and sincere. A few of us, who could not ignore this simple and unsophisticated village life and the overwhelming charm of the forest, with the passion of the dream, embarked on the task of realizing the dream of 'Aranyo Bitan' about two years ago in the land next to the forest adjacent to the village. A vital effort began to match our desire and afford. As a result of the concerted and sincere  efforts of a few urban and local rural people, the 'Aranyo Bitan' of our intense desire, our dream was built. 'Aranyo Bitan' is the address for a one-two day peaceful vacation for people who are used to fed up and accustomed to urban monotony. There are mud houses - 'Mahua', 'Sonajhuri' and 'Kusum' to spend a dreamy day in the scent of mud. The big jungle tents 'Shimul' and 'Tamal' and the small jungle tents 'Gulancha' and 'Kurchi' are there to experience the unprecedented thrill of the jungle. There are two big family rooms with six beds - 'Shal' and 'Palash'. There will be a few huts planned for the near future. The pleasure of a short trip of one or two days inevitably acts as a positive catalyst to remove the fatigue and boredom of everyday life and move forward in life with renewed enthusiasm. So, come without delay, share our thrilling feeling, you too. Take a two-day break from the busy work schedule and spend a short vacation in this nest of peace.
